Not the most successful day

I had big plans for today. Then I went to get my oil changed and wasted most of my afternoon wandering around the store. From there I ended up going to four different stores just to get the right yarn. At least I am now set in that area.
I managed a visit to the wildlife sanctuary. The deer got more of the nuts than the chipmunks, but that's ok. The deer were more interested anyway.
The funny thing is I couldn't get off tomorrow as well, but I don't know if I'm exactly needed. I have one girl in my room who makes the difference between one teacher and two some days and tomorrow is one of those days. If she doesn't come I may end up with my lottery, an unplanned day off. I'm next on the list and could use it.
I tried making these bowls made of bacon my husband requested. Turkey bacon doesn't mold the way regular bacon does so they didn't hold their shape well at all. Oh well, bacon is bacon to him. He even likes the turkey bacon. Maybe I'll try the bowls again when my parents come visit for Thanksgiving.
Ok, one interesting thing happened yesterday. If you are offended by talk of ghosts bypass this paragraph. Last night I was talking to one of my friends on Facebook. I was trying to tell her the names we have picked out for a baby. I typed the names, moved my hand away, and watched as the cursor went back deleting everything. Happened 2 or 3 times and only when talking about baby names. A boy would be named after my brother so his name was mentioned. My mom will say that it's my brother picking on me or something. It's a nice thought and I've felt his presence before and some people think he's in two of my wedding pictures. My brother and I always had a special relationship and the day he died I was followed by a dark shadow before I knew about his accident. I want to take it as a sign that he approves of the name choice.
I gave in and got a pumpkin spice cappuccino today while out running around. Logged it in my tracker and found it to have twice as many calories as I thought. It fit in alright, but gave me an added reason to say no. Plus, I don't need the caffeine, especially if the talk of baby names leads to anything. The tea is good, not overly pumpkin-like, but good.
