Had a great first day!
Started out by recording my weight and measurements. Won't do this again until after the 30 days
not as bad as I thought it might have been.
Next i moved all the bad / processed food to the back of the fridge and all the season salts with added chemicals to the back of the cupboard. Now when i open the door I just see fresh food. my stand out spices are curry, turmeric, sea salt and green tea with fresh herbs in the fridge. I also clarified a lb of butter and this is what I will cook with when I want that yummy buttery flavor.
For breakfast I had a bowl of homemade curry carrot & butternut squash soup. For lunch i enjoyed 2 poached eggs on a bed of raw spinach and fried tomatoes in ghee. Around 2 I had a hand full of cashews and for dinner I can smell my curry and coconut chicken just bubbling away. i was happy to see, after tallying my food, that I could throw in another handful of cashews and still not have broken the fat bank. The point of the detox is to not weigh or measure anything and to only eat clean. restricted are dairy, carbs and of course alcohol. I thought it would be interesting none the less to record the food anyway. I am 400 shy of my calorie range and 10 shy in my protein. fat is looking good and as to be expected 60 shy for the carbs.
i was also a good girl in that I jumped on the elliptical for a 1/2 hour work out. Might as well give'er all and see what happens!
