Sunday got off to a rocky start. Sean (7) started throwing up in the middle of the night. Hubby, Patrick (14 and Sean's roommate), and I were up cleaning him up, the bedding, and taking care of him for half the night. Patrick was such an awesome helper. Maybe with his allergies (and stuffiness) he couldn't smell it as much as me. He cleaned up everything. That meant sleeping in because we were too tired for the commute to church. It's too dangerous when both hubby and I have lost sleep. We got up later and I decided to take some of the kids into town to see my parents. Hubby stayed home with Sean and had some great bonding time with him. They played chess. I played basketball at my mom's house with the kids. We had so much fun, and my dad joined in too. I estimate I was playing about 30 minutes, and drank a ton of water.
Today was day 300 of my 10 min/day of exercise streak. I kept Sean home as a precaution. Because of that, I decided to try Zumba again (XBox Kinect). I forgot how fun Zumba was, and how difficult. I did the two "easy" 20 minute routines, although there's not much easy about them. I really enjoyed it and am really sweaty now. Sean did some with me, so he's feeling much better. I really hope I get the newer game Zumba Rush for Christmas. I'm going to have to start dropping some hints soon.
WooHoo! 300 days of 10 minutes of exercise per day!
