I woke up today with a big reality check, I've been talking a lot about losing weight, but that's just it..I've only been talking!! I am running/walking 5/6 days a week, but my eating is still out of control! Bascially on the weekends, we eat out almost every meal, it's ridiculous!
My weight has remained the same since the end of April, 5 months of bouncing btw 244.6-248.4. I recently joined 2 challenges and posted some pretty embarrassing "before" photos! Talk about motivation! How come we never realize the extent of our weight until it's in photos...
As of Friday(9/21) my weight was 246.4. Today Sept 24th, my birthday is 6 months from today. How do I want to finish my last 6 months of being 35? How do I want to start out the New Year?
I would like to set a realistic goal for 6 months
1lbs/week would equal 25 lb loss
1.5 lbs/week would equal 37.5lb loss
2lbs/week would equal 50lb loss
I would LOVE to be in ONEderland by my birthday, but don't think that is a realistic goal with the holidays coming up.. Besides the food alone, we do a lot of traveling. I would bascially need to be in the 2lb/ a week until then for this to happen.
So for now my goal is the 37.5 lbs in 6 months or 1.5 lbs a week. Seems realistic and doable!
