Restarting and measurements - 9/24/12

Long time no blog! I'm back, obviously, and hoping to get back into things. My back has started hurting badly again from lack of muscle. Well, I have certain problems with it but the pain improves with stronger muscles. I've also started smoking again... a while back... I know, shamey shamey. I've still done pretty well, but since muscle weighs more than fat and I've lost so much muscle (dang does it go away fast!) I look bigger in my belly.. though my measurements don't show it? But I do. I need to do a pic. Hmm.. anyway, here's my stats. (From when I left back in Aug. 2011 to now.)

Neck - 13" - 13.5" = +.5

Waist - 40" - 39.5" = - .5"!

Hips - 41.5" - 39.5" = -1"!

Thigh - 19.5" - 20" = +.5"

Calf - 13" - 13.5" = +.5"

Arm - 11" - 12" = +1"

I went from161 to 167 during the last year. Not *too* bad, though I wish it was in the other direction. So, I'm back. I really need some support. Some lifting up to help me feel I can do this all over again. I'm upset with myself. Even if I'm not buff or whatever I'm fine. But the weight gain and the upped measurements really pisses me off. I've got to get back on track before I end up where I was before. I absolutely refuse to do that again. So! Helloooo. Anyone out there still pay attention to me?


OH, and anyone that can help me with the changes with the site, it would be appreciated greatly.

    I agree with MJ - 6 lbs is not bad for a year! You're doing better than most of the people around here who are actively in maintenance mode!

    So happy you are back and that your blog and page show up now. 6 pounds in a year is not too bad! Let's get you back on track! You know the basics: Get in your water first and foremost. Eat within your ranges and make as any natural, whole food choices as possible. Make better choices than you do less healthy ones. Move your butt and do the strength training. Let's get your back in better shape.

    NOW...Miss Angel. Put down that lit butt and light a fire under your own butt to get healthier. Ain't nothing in that pack of smokes but sure death. You know this. Don't end up waiting until it is too late the way I did. Years after quitting I get COPD directly related to my many years of being a smoker. Yes, shamey, shamey! Not going to cut you any slack there. If you can afford the smokes you can afford some good wholesome veggies. Telling it to you like it T-I-S - cause you matter!

    Really and truly glad to see you again. Don't disappear on us, okay? You might want to copy and paste this blog into a new blog for people who won't go searching back a few days when you were "hidden". People want to know what's going on with you!
