Well to be honest I was more nervous about riding this Saturday than the previous. We rode 24 miles with only a half hour break at the halfway point. The second half of the ride was tough. A very strong headwind the whole way back (12 miles) But I did it, and my recovery time was faster. Even my bottom wasn't as sore after this ride. We got good saddles, but I am also learning how to sit on the bike. Believe it or not it really makes a difference!! Really works the core to sit properly too!!
We are going to a 5k in a couple weeks too. Weren't planning on it but our church is sponsoring one. We still walk them. Our goal is to do a consistent 14 minute mile
So that gives us something to push for on our daily walks!!
