SEASON'S CHANGE

Monday, September 24, 2012

And boy how they change fast. I have started to go on my walks later due to the temps but this morning is really cold. It is just after 6 & 42 degrees. Brrrrr! Now 49 I can handle but at 42 all kinds of things just might start to fall off. Hmm-may be a good thing. But in actuality I just may wait until 7 this morning. Last night I was having cabin fever so I went out for another walk & it was 50 & me in shorts. My little legs were so cold by the time I got done although I did make it an hour. This morning I already have my leggings out-lol!
I do want to thank all of you for your support on yesterdays blog. Your encouraging words really did make a difference!

My Positives:
A cool morning to walk
No dishes to do-lol
No longer having to rush out the door
Fall is here
My Hubby
My Son
My Spark family
The Lord for carrying me when I am to weak on my own

Unlike Chris, I was out with shorts and 50 or lower. We had a freeze & then today was 78 here. Tomorrow is in the 60's and I will go to capris as many think that I am getting too cold. My DH had his sweatshirt on all day and me.............plenty warm!!
Changes in the seasons are usually extreme but I think summer into fall is has the biggest swings of all. You are getting used to the cool going into the cold; the cold going into the cool warmth and then summer comes like a bull in a china shop!!!:):)

Thank you for all the positives today. I agree with you dear friend!!

I know what you mean. Fall has come on fast! I heard on the weather channel a couple of weeks back that this winter is supposed to a winter, which will be nice. Hubby had to get his jacket the other morning.
Love your positives!

We're heading for summer but still had -2C frost the other night. You keep well wrapped up in the cold.

I prefer above 50 as well. When I was training for my half marathon that was to take place in the spring, in the winter. There were days it was in the teens and single digits. I think I was crazy during that time LOL. Once I got going I wasn't cold. I didn't look at the temp when I went out walking this morning it was a little chilly though. I'm glad you didn't havr dishes to do this morning :)

It was 35 degrees at my house at 6 this morning. I started a fire in the wood stove and found out hubby still had two windows open from the top when I wondered why the place wasn't heating up, lol.

Yup, Fall arrived on the calendar and Mother Nature said, then so be it. It went down to 6C (42.8F) for us last night, the coolest so far since last Spring when I thought that was a balmy evening LOL Time to start dressing a little warmer as I think the cooler temps are here to stay, sad to say.

50 and SHORTS???? I would have been freezing! It was in the high 60's this morning and a little too cool for me! We get a bit cool if the temp drops below say, 75!

Good for you for getting out there and walking! emoticon

I like between 50 to 70 to walk outside. With winter coming on I will go back to walking in the halls in my condo. It gets a little boring, but I listen to books on tape.

This is making me rethink what I am going to wear this morning. Weatherman says its 49!? My walk is usually around 720a. Maybe it will warmup in time for my afternoon walk.

I did hear that 59 degrees was the best walking/running weather. Shorts and a long sleeve shirt!

Good Morning! You and my DD2 both. She really hates having to go out in the dark and cold for that 6:37 morning bus. Hope you enjoy your walk today. Dressing for the weather makes a lot of sense. Have a lovely day.

Great post. I was walking today and the wind was bitterly cold. This Spring is very cold for me! I like all the things that you are thankful for. It is reminding me to do the same.
