I am on my way

Monday, September 24, 2012

Soooooo, I am very excited because I have officially lost 31 pounds! This is super exciting! I have never been able to lose this much weight! Thanks to Sparkpeople, I have been able to stay on top of my goal and have been getting the support that I need to continue with my weight loss. As of today, I still have about 30 more pounds to go and am ready for the challenge! One of the things that I love about losing the weight is that people come up to me and ask me how I have done it. I am always so happy to reccommend sparkpeople for them because I find it very useful. It just makes me extremely happy that I can share something positive with others and that they can be encouraged to start their own weight loss journey by seeing how well I have been doing. One thing that I have also noticed as I have reached this milestone is that I am actually afraid that I will gain the weight back somehow. I always wonder if this is a feeling that many people encounter. What can you all tell me about this? It really is a feeling of fear that I have because I feel so good and accomplished right now, I don't every want to go back to being 200 pounds! Let me know what you think about this! Thank you for reading and I hope we can continue to give each other support and courage to reach our goals! Until next time,

Nen

Awesome on your loss! emoticon emoticon It has helped me so much already! I think the fear you are talking about is a healthy fear if you are not obsessing over it. It's kind of like learning to not touch the stove when it's hot. I don't want to go back there either, and I am a little afraid of myself, that if I slip back into my old habits I will end up back where I started. It makes me more diligent to keep on with the good new habits and changes I am putting into my life. Congrats again on your great progress!!!
