Overwhelmed, but still working and setting goals

Hello all ,

I would like to thank everyone for the support I have received

the last few weeks as I have struggled. I filled my plate then over

filled it a bit too much with working 3 to 4 days a week

home schooling then trying to work 3 to 4 more doing

construction. I have been overwhelmed and my blogging

and weight have suffered because of it. Work or not if I do

not micro manage my food intake I gain back soo fast.

I am so happy for my GREAT metabolism that can take such

a small amount of food and still turn some into fat/ pounds

without a problem..

This is not helpful in a world that offers me food at every

turn .. It would be nice if I were a hunter/ gatherer and only

could eat 3 to 5 times a week...

Oh well I am working on eating better as I am down to

just 21 days before vacation and was really wanting to be

not only in better shape but to have lost a few pounds.

This may help motivate me ? We shall see right?

On the plus side My wife and I have managed to save the cash

and most of the vacation is paid for now with the last few

hundred coming soon. I also have won bids and have submitted

another that may end up landing a load more work in the future.







Day 158 of my CHIP (chiphealth.com) PLAN and all is going great? soso

Day 62 (21 to go) of vacation goal (lose 14 pounds start 287.2) - 0 pds / 14 gone.

Spark People loss total pounds- 23 as of 9/23/12

Short Term goals :
Weight:
273 = 40 pounds down again ! ___reward = Movie New pair of jeans
263 (again to 50 pounds gone 20 to go ! )__ reward = Vacation !

I have worked out since my original goal of 50 was met and am much stronger now.. This goal will be so Awesome to reach!

262 (low in years)__ New pair of jeans and underwear/socks! Check that 2 New outfits!

259 __ Party ...!!!!!

255__New shirt

249 __ Vacation amusement park !
Vacation to Universal studios / Disney in Florida and visit my family there!!!

Mini goals:

Master kinect dance central .

Strength:
3 minute pushups test goal 150 (122 current)__ New pics for my sparkpage, and a movie out !

bench 300 pounds max out(240 current)__ Meal out!

curl 60 pounds each arm 10 times(40 now,60 7 times)__ TBD ,meal out!
Pushups 5 reps 1 kid on back__ New Everlast shirt and shorts/joggers
Pushups 10 reps 1 kid on back__ Day off workout/and calories count
Pushups 5 reps 2 kids on back __ 3 days of rest from strength training!






Life is Great and God is Greater for Strength , my family

,children and Amazing wife , my spark friends , spark teams ,

many material and other blessing in my life and The ability to

get up period !! !!

    Chris, It's good you know your body and how it reacts to how much food and exercise. Good for you for wanting to lose pounds before vacation.... emoticon

I'm glad you continue to get work, and that you find it satisfying. Isn't it great to know that your vacation is already paid for? Good for you and your wife!

    COME ON CHRIS........ I'M WITH YOU ALL THE WAY TO LOSE THE POUNDS BEFORE YOUR VACATION........ YOU WANT TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE TO CHASE THE KIDS AND KEEP UP WITH THEM....... DO THINGS AND FEEL GOOD.... NOT TIRED...... STICK WITH IT....... HANG IN AND DON'T GIVE UP....... WE CAN DO THIS....... I KNOW emoticon JUST emoticon

    You can lose before your vacation and if you watch it, you can lose a lb or 2 on vacation. We were gone for 2 months and I lost 7 lbs! So it can be done and I just know you can do it.
