Woo hoo can you believe it! I have stuck with the plan for a month now! It amazing to me because the old me would have ABSOLUTELY given up by now... Go mee!
So this week was the beginning of fall and with the weather change comes more arthritis problems for me. This week wasn't a great exercise week for me (I did strength training for about 20 min and the Elliptical for 30) so I was really worried about the scale this week. On top of that the family ordered pizza (bahh!) and I had a couple pieces (although mine was the thin crust with tomatoes and mushroom and light cheese so it was as bad as it could have been).
I have come to the conclusion that I have a food addiction. And because everyone needs to eat and no matter where you go you are surrounded by food, its probably one of the hardest addictions to deal with. I am constantly craving bad foods and I know I can never go back to the way I was before... hopefully the cravings will go away eventually, I have hope. lol It sounds pathetic that I'm addicted to food, but it is what it is and I'm an open book so I have nothing to hide.
On a lighter note, I bought Bob Harper's "The Skinny Rules" because I LOVE bob (Constantly watching TBL lol) and he obviously knows more about weight loss than I do, so I thought I would give it a read. The book is pretty clear cut and it feels like he is actually talking to you, i love it! I only got it yesterday so I have read the rules (they seem scary!! haha) but I haven't read them in detail. The one thing I did read was he said NO CREAM, SUGAR or anything but Black (maybe some fat free milk) in my COFFEE! AAAHHHH. I went from having white coffee (wayyy too much coffee mate) to 2 tbsp of creamer...
Goals: I am going to try and do 1 tbsp of creamer for this week and see where I go from there. I love my coffee though. :) Also, I need to get back on the exercise horse and at the VERY LEAST stretch everyday.
Scale:188lbs! Yayy! I'm in the 180's that's exciting. :) So far I have lost a total of 16lbs!! Feeling good and much healthier.
