Before starting the BLC20 (Biggest Loser Challenge), I’ve been indulging in gourmet cupcakes. These gourmet cupcakes stores have been popping up everywhere the past couple of years.
I’ve been trying to find the nutritional information with very little success. I wonder why?
Myfitness pal has a couple entries:
Red Velvet Cupcake with Cream Cheese Frosting – Calories 400
Vanilla Stuffed Cupcake – Calories 460
I couldn’t’ find any nutrition info for my favorite Somoa.
I did find a blog that covered Bakery Cupcakes, so I’m going with that info:
Total Fat: 20 grams
Saturated Fat: 12 grams
What you get: Just one of these contains more than half the recommend daily saturated fat limit.
To burn this cupcake off, I would have to:
- Spend 50 minutes on the torture trainer (arc trainer)
- Walk for 2 hours and 15 minutes
Hmmmm….Later gourmet cupcakes, you're not worth it!
