It seems like every 3 months or so something goes wrong and I need medical intervention, lol
The flavor of the month: I was diagnosed as vitamin D deficient earlier this month. I am also still dealing with anemia from my female problems, which were both making me feel terrible. I am now taking vitamin D and iron supplements and I've stopped taking contraception altogether which seems to have solved the female issue (which was likely hormonal).
Also, my doctor put me on lexapro for my anxiety and it seems to be REALLY helping a lot. I didn't even realize the extent to which my mental health was suffering, but I definitely feel a lot happier and better able to cope with stress. ANNNND I don't feel the crazy cravings I used to -- I am eating much less food and feeling more satisfied.
Basically -- I feel 500x better than I have in a long time!!!
I went running today and it was just the most amazing feeling... I feel stronger, I have more stamina, and my heart rate doesn't spike as high as it used to. Plus, it was just plain fun. I have missed running SO MUCH, and doing it for the first time in a long while made me feel like I was meeting with a long lost friend -- it seemed normal, like an old routine that I can easily fall back into. I will be doing it 3x a week from now until forever.
I feel great!
