Developing an Attitude of Gratitude.

Saturday, September 22, 2012

This morning I woke up and realized how out of control things were getting in my life. My time management is in need of some serious redoing. I took one look at all the things that needed to actually get done today and got really irritated because no one else in my home finds these things to be a priority. Then I took a few minutes to realize all that I have in my life God has blessed me with . I need not to take these things for granted but rather be grateful I have them. Something as simple as loading a dishwasher can be looked at as a blessing. I don't have to wash dishes by hand. Do I have a lot to do? Yes but it could be a lot worse. I am grateful I have a house to clean. I believe at anytime God can take these things as fast as he has given them to us. He has blessed me with my family, my health, my animals, my job, and my home. These are just a few wonderful blessings. As for my health God gave me a body to take care of so I will try to put good food in it and keep it in shape by exercising. I will take care of my self in all areas to show an attitude of gratitude and not of ungratefulness. I will look at my chores and obligations as gifts rather than hindrances.

I like that: an attitude of gratitude. That's a very good thing to have and to hold on to and to remember when life throws you curve balls.
Thank you!

What a great way to look at some of lifes not so fun things to do. You are blessed to have all those things and you are showing by writing this blog that you see it and appreciate it.

Thank you for the great reminder. Things are out of control on my end as well and was feeling overwhelmed that I let things get this way. Attempted to at least get in 30 minutes of decluttering and then started feeling overwhelmed. Took a break and saw your blog post. You have a great attitude. Keep it up. And thanks again for the reminder.

You have such amazing attitude! The universe acts as a reflection of our thoughts and I'm sure that you'll be receiving more gifts in future. Thank you for reminding me to have an attitude of gratitude as well. There is so much to be thankful about! :)
