So, when I mapped out my plan, I not only set mini weight loss goals for the journey, but I also made a list of about how much I wanted to weigh each week on my weigh in day from now till June 22nd. I am not naive enough to think that I can hit each week exactly as I hoped for, but it's more of a guideline so I will know if I am on track for my main goals. Today is my first weigh in day since I started and ... I MADE IT! I lost 7 pounds this week!!! I am SO excited!!!
I know that it's easier to lose more weight the first week or two of any weight loss plan. I know it will slow down drastically. I have 1 or 2 pounds a week as my average goal. But I wanted a good jump start and I won!!! And looking back on my food log, I know that I have done this in a realistic and healthy way. This gives me the encouragement and momentum to keep going!
