Rare soapbox moment: I saw a picture flying around Facebook yesterday. Someone with a sign, "Bush f'ed the economy. Now we want to blame the black guy." I don't know whether to laugh or cry. First of all, skin color is totally irrelevant. Second, housing deregulation happened on Clinton's watch. We don't need to blame him either though because there's nothing inherently wrong with deregulation. Now clearly, there's lot of factors that go into the the economic soup. They wouldn't call it macro economics if it was simple. But I can simplify one thing for you. To those that want to point fingers, look in the mirror or across the street at your neighbor. It was all you jerk wads that borrowed well beyond your means while I pinched pennies and rented crappy apartments to save, save, save.

I hope people move fiscal responsibility to the top of their priorities when they vote this year. Unfortunately, aforementioned jerk wads are the antithesis of fiscal responsibility.

Ask me how I feel about foreign policy. Lol.

Back to my obsession: nutrition and fitness! This weekend challenge is to focus on nutrition.

Avoid the white stuff
Avoid fast food
Avoid fried food
Track nutrition each day
Consume 5 freggies
Get 20 minutes of intentional exercise
Bonus: Stay in your nutrition ranges.

What are you doing this weekend? Come play with me. Lets see what we can accomplish.

LOL - I agree. I know people getting principal reductions on their mortgages. Where is my kickback? I scrimped, saved, drive an 11 year old car, and did without to retire my debt and my mortgage. And because I was responsible, my reward pay more in taxes so the extravagant ones can get their mortgage help!

And I would probably agree with you on your feelings about our foreign policy, too!
