Guys, I had a really good moment this morning. Every Friday, a couple of coworkers and I go to a local coffee shop to get breakfast. They have deeeeelicious breakfast sandwiches, of course, none of which particularly healthy. My favorite being the steak, egg, and cheese sandwich. It comes on a big fat roll, and is slathered in mayo. It’s quite tasty. I was determined to have one, but I was also determined to make it healthier. (I had ALREADY told myself I wasn’t getting a latte, because those are an absolute explosion of calories.) So I got egg whites instead of eggs, and no mayo. Good life choices, right?
It gets better. I decided about half way through the sandwich that I was only going to eat half. I wrapped up the rest, and tossed it. It’s still not healthy healthy, but it was good, and I found that I really only needed half (eating the whole sandwich makes me comatose the rest of the day). Just thought I would share with you all, since you are the people that would understand.
And so went my first blog post.
