I have run four days so far this week for a total of 9 miles. Pretty happy about that. I took yesterday off from running to rest my knee and I took the road bike out for a very quick ride right before it got dark. I haven't been tracking mileage on the bikes but I did 7.15 miles last night in 25:30. It felt really relaxed despite it being a hilly ride. I wish I could have ridden longer, but the sun was setting and it was almost completely dark out when I finished the loop so I had to end it. That gives me 2 rides this week so I've hit my bare minimum fitness goals for the week already with two days still ahead of me!
I weighed in at 180.6 lbs this AM. It could have been a lot worse, though, as I ate about 3,500 calories yesterday. This is over 1,000 calories more than what I was aiming for. I think I might need to make some adjustments to my caloric goals in order to avoid the extreme hunger that the exercise is creating. Perhaps more veggies will help? Will try boiling up a bunch of carrots for lunch instead of eating hot dogs again.
