Tonight I did my interval training for 55 minutes, plus a 5 minute warm up. It's the first time I've done running training for an hour total! I went over 4 miles (about 4.17 but my phone died so I'm not too sure) I'm making my profile on RunKeeper but I'm suspicious that they want access to my Facebook... nope. :-P
I kept up that 4 miles at a 14:30 speed WITH the 5 minute walking warm up. So that in itself is improvement! I'd love to get down to minute 13 per mile though before my 10k! I'm starting to realize now that the 40 minute mark I'm usually a better runner. I feel that by that time my body has given in and accepted that it's going to be running around a big red ring til I tell it it doesn't have to. I get less out of breath and I can keep a ten minute pace better. I was more consistent in my speed in the beginning this time around, I didn't try for a 7-8 minute pace and settled for an 11-12 minute pace, but I was more consistent in keeping it... at least every time I looked at my run keeper.
I tried my fruits but I'm gonna post my pictures tomorrow. I'm getting revved up for this interview tomorrow! And I need to do some more research and look at my design portfolio. I got a new resume printed today... but not on the paper I wanted :-( 15 to 20 hours a week unpaid if I get it, but having a job usually makes other companies more interested in hiring you. I tried on a shirt that wouldn't fit when I was in the 300's and it did fit tonight! I have to suck in so my stomach doesn't press on the cotton, but it fits! Now I just need to decide what to wear in the morning (morning... le sigh...) and iron it (or pretend it doesn't have wrinkles) :-P
This weekend I'll be more able to catch up on my teammates blogs! :-)
