If you read my status for today that was ony the beginning of a fun morning

when I got taken to the back that was when I found out that my doctor did not order the stimulating part of the pitutary test where you are injected with cortisol every 30 minutes 3 times and then give more blood samples before the next shot.

I had three techs. The firt two experienced and the third was a newbie. they were talking her through the process. Initially I was not worried. but as time went on I was ready to leave. she put the band on the left arm, got a vein and the techs kept asking are you sure it is a good one. so she went to the right arm and got a vein there. Since we needed 8 tubes, the decided to go with that one.

So then they start asking her to make sure she was right on her choice because once she put the gloves on and put alcohol there was no chance to change. so I am bracing now. Figured she would be like the other techs I kow and say ready or you are going to feel the stick. never happened. I did feel a bit of pain and the kept hearing tubes hit the table. it was goin so quickly. they figured that the tech scared the blood out of me. I think so also

So then drove back and stopped at the doctors office to get weighed in, bp done and then get hubby a lab slip so he can have blood drawn over the weekend.'
