Recent setbacks

Thursday, September 20, 2012

Well, I don't really know how to start.
My daughter had her baby on July 28 with lots of complications that I had the privilege to help out with. But it got me out of my routine, and out of my own home for healthy eating.
Then I fell and had trouble exercising for several weeks. I stayed away from it.
NOW I have poison ivy that I got from my husband. He was weeding in the back yard, and pulled a PO plant, and didn't clean up well, and well he passed it on to me. I have never had poison ivy. I have been itchy all over, my rash spread, (it started on my inner thighs) I have seen the doctor. It took him a while to put me on prednisone. I just started that yesterday, and am now starting to feel better, but I still have a few new spots this morning. It breaks out as a new spot, which itches, and then spreads. I seem to have a hypersensitivity. Any way, I haven't wanted to do anything to exercise,
And have even been doing poorly on my eating.
I have been reading lots of good blogs, and excellent articles to help my brain to be in the right place.
I have also been continuing in reading my Bible. But my goals for the past week have been put by the wayside.

Hope you all have a great day.

What a horrible thing to go through. Good for you, keeping your mind in the right place.

Sorry about the poison ivy! I've only had one mild case, but it does make you feel miserable. Don't worry about that and the break in routine--this, too, shall pass! (It just doesn't seem like it.) After it's gone, you'll be back again Sparking full force.

satan likes to throw some 'setbacks' in to discourage us, but I know, Ravyna, that you are a strong person with determination and that you will get back on track and be victorious! (How is that for one LONG sentence? Hehehe!) Just remember, each step taken is one step closer to success! Love you, Friend! :)
