Home Gym and other stuff

My wife and I have been looking for a home gym and wanted to make sure we got the best bang for our buck. Out of the blue her coworker says that her dad has a couple he is getting rid of . Whe she got the price from him he said no charge as long as we haul off ourselves. I go there thinking this is pretty cool we can save a couple hundred bucks, only to get there and find out it is a very nice name brand home gym that would have cost us close to a thousand. I have now used it twice this week as we just got it and it is a workout. We really wanted it for our son as he needs to start working out but just found out he has a hernia that has to be repaired first. It is so great though.
In other news, I am now under 210 lbs. I consider under 200 another big milestone so am getting close, but before I get there at 201 I will be at 50 lbs. lost.
Also on the diet from I have went out a couple times and am ordering well. One time I ordered the house salad, which was a green salad with kidney beans, garbanzo beans, and a couple slices beets on top. I ordered it without dressing and with a side of pickles and peppers. The next time at a different place I ordered the fresh fruit platter with a cinnamon yogurt dipping sauce. I only dipped one strawberry slice and ate the rest just as it was sliced. The menu had a calorie count and I did not eat all the fruit on the plate by a long shot.
