So I've successfully followed my healthier lifestyle for 3 days straight. Not exactly a marathon, but definitely a step in the right direction!
I actually find that I look forward to my workout video at night with my fiancée. Neither one of us are coordinated or in shape enough to really keep up, so it ends up being a lot of laughing along with the working out. We still end up tired and sweaty at the end of it though, so I gotta think it's doing the job.
I've also been very careful about what I've been eating. Hallelujah for the food tracker on this site! I love seeing the breakdown of my calories so I know what to eat (or not to eat!) throughout the day. For instance, I know that tonight I need to eat a low-carb, high-protein meal to round out my nutrition for the day. Egg salad here I come!
