In a few weeks I will take part in a 5% Challenge. I have several assignments I have to complete before the challenge begins. #1 The first assignment is to answer the following questions:
Have you got your gym clothes, runners, water bottle, etc. ready to go? Yes, everything is ready to go.
What is your exercise plan? My plan is to go to the gym every morning, except for Friday and Sunday. I will work out a minimum of 30 minutes each day.
Do you know what diet you will follow? Found some recipes? Have you stocked up on the foods? I will follow a carb cycling diet as discussed in Chris Powell's "Choose to Lose" book.
Do you know how to connect with your team mates? Yes, I know I have lots of support on SP.
Did you put your Fall 5% Challenge Commitment on your page? Yes.
#2 The second assignment is to update my Sparkpage: Done.....
Third assignment is to list all the reasons you want to lose weight.
What do you want to change? I want to change my emotional struggles due to being overweight. I want to be able to workout without feeling that my weight is too heavy for my knees. I want to change how I view myself (no longer thick, overweight and/or fat) in the mirror.
How do you want to look? I want to look lean and toned.
How do you want to feel? I want to feel confident. I want to feel powerful and in control.
What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body? I will be able to sit next to anyone on a couch, airplane, dinner table, or lounge chair without feeling that I am taking up too much space. I want to be able to walk through the doorway without having to turn sideways. I want to be able to keep my legs crossed without feeling like I am working out my thighs. I want to be able to shop without looking for a particular section in the store.
