So a plan. . . .

Wednesday, September 19, 2012

It has come to my attention that I have no choice but to move, my landlord has re-rented the apartment for December 1st. So now the hunt begins. I'm afraid that past financial stumbles will cause this to be a long and difficult road. Trying to stay positive and have faith that we'll find something quickly and easily.

Aside from that the shoulder is a bit tender tonight, was great during the exercises today - it was my chest day - but after each set it hurt. I didn't stop and probably should have but it feels so good to push that weight. So now I need to baby it a gain for a few days while I try to get into the doctor or see what my sister has to say about it. She is in school to be come a physical therapy assistant.

Diets good, so far the BLC20 is going good. Love having the extra accountability to push me to do a bit more such as walking at lunch time and on my breaks. I don't normally take my daily breaks but the walks yesterday where great.

Off to dream land I go. Night all

Get in to see your doctor. Don't push too hard on it & cause more harm. Listen to what 3-Giants posted. Good advice. emoticon

Even if you can't get in all your ST, there are still other aspects you can focus on to help you along your journey. We are all here to help.

Happy apartment hunting too. Geesh.

Jamie, 5 years ago, I had a head on collision with a 60# dog, running flat out - I thought she would stop and she thought I would get out of the way. She connect with my left knee. There was a pop and it hyper-extended. Thought I was tough and when the room stopped spinning, I croaked "No, I'n fine."

Babied that puppy for almost a year with PT and little to no exercise.

Ended up having it scoped. Was told how to care for it. Thought it "felt so good" I could do more.

Year later I had a TKR. NOT a high point in my life. Rehabbed that puppy back BY THE BOOK!!

Lesson learned?? RESPECT the body. It is talking - you need to listen!! Please have it looked at and follow the doctors advise.
