I Ran a Mile!!!

So this week, my motivation has almost disappeared. It's a mind battle just to get myself to exercise and my eating has not been great. I know I've been emotionally eating because of stress, frustration, loneliness, or being tired. Today is Wednesday, a C25K day. The last thing I wanted to do was "torture" myself with running. I went back and forth in my mind all morning, "yes, no, yes, no, yes, no". Finally I just did it. I chose a different path to run on today for a change of scenery. This week, I follow this pattern: run 1/4 mile, walk 1/8, run 1/2, walk 1/4, run 1/4, walk 1/8, run 1/4. Today, as I was running my first 1/2 mile segment, I realized I could keep going. So I decided to go 3/4 mile. Then I decided to go another 1/4 mile to make it one mile total without stopping. I have never run that far without stopping before!!!!!!!!!!! It was so amazing. I can run 1/3 of the 5K now without stopping, I ran a total of 2 miles today, and 3.25 miles running and walking combined. It was so motivating. I'm finally realizing that I'll be able to do this running thing!!! Praise God!! :)
