Well today I had my yearly health screening with the store I work at. The good news is I'm doing much better then I did last year. The bad news is there is still room for improvement. Results is my blood pressure is down about 10 points, my BMI is down about 1 point (it seems I shrunk about an inch) but then BMI is also kinda crap as it was designed for runners exclusively, my LDL cholesterol was able to be measured this time and is at 136 though my HDL is at 32, still better the last year at 24. My blood glucose dropped as well from 84 to 82, so not much change there.
One thing this made me realize is that I should probably step up my exercising more then I have, as right now the most I usually do is walk to and from work (approx: 1.77 miles each way), with occasionally running a local trail (approx: 2.25 miles each way) though that is usually less then once a week. To up my exercise I've joined the CrossFit team as that was something I was planning on doing eventually once I got down to 190lbs (I am now at 194.4 from 231 when I started SP). So I'm going to be adding significantly more exercise to my week, intense physically demanding exercise. Wish me luck!
