I was fooling myself...

Wednesday, September 19, 2012

I kept telling myself.. you didnt gain weight.. you still can fit in your clothes.. But that really isnt the case.. i gained weight and now i really have to do better with eating.. i am doing exercies.. as much as i can.. hamstring is koilling me after doing a lot of yard work and bending over but i can still walk and do a lot.. so i am walking each night with hubby and dog.. and most mornings too.! But now i have to do better with food.. and have to deal with sweets.. so more journaling.. and more postive attitude.. i know i can do this.. i have before.. i just wished i ncould get another treadmill!!
Sometimes it is hard to have a healthy life style when so much gets in the way.. but i am forever trying to keep on the right tract no matter what.. and now that it is getting cooler i will be doing more!!

Funny how we know what to do and then... whoops. But yesterday is done. The future is in front of us, a clean slate upon which to create.

Sometimes little mantras or even token reminders placed in tempting spots can help and yet not be noticeable to others. For me, certain phrases do it; I just think them and it helps. Purposeful thinking, not passing thoughts. One, "accentuate the positive", came to mind immediately while reading your blog tonight.

You are so right: the 'stuff' that fills the hours of our days - our lives! - pushes what really is a NEED (healthy lifestyle/changes) to the back burner. Time put YOU first. You're worth it. After all, you ARE one Classy Lady!!

You can do this. I know you can. Good for you to be honest with yourself. that is the first and best step. check out my blog today as I saw a good guest on Dr. Oz and posted a link... not sure but might help with the sugar craving stuff.
    Have a terrific evening.
