Today was awesome. It's day 5 for me on SP (well really day 6 as I'm half an hour late posting this) and the fourth day of my own personal 30 day challenge. Yippie!
Woke up this morning bright and early and so decided to take a hike on my favorite mountain trail -- love it. Will definitely miss the proximity when I move. It was fantabulous! Plus I met a fellow hiker with a friendly dog named Finch -- is there a Boo Radley in the house? Anyway. Great day, and fall weather is trying it's best to come to Phoenix.
I have to say that I'm getting much faster and tracking and finding it super helpful in not only tracking calories, but fat, protein and carbs. For me, those last three are the more interesting values as I've never really been able to figure them out before.
I'm completely worn out tonight -- just spent about 6 hours working on something that should have taken 3 hours -- MAX. A computer-related thing, so annoying. BUT.. it's done now, so all is good and I can go to bed happy.
For only 5 days on the SP plan (and 4 days on my own get up and go plan) -- I'm really feeling great. I didn't plan so well today though, but still managed to do okay with all my numbers -- didn't get enough carbs which I don't think will kill me in the short term. *grin* But tomorrow (today) morning I need to get up and put together a thoughtful menu plan. Lots going on this week to keep me busy otherwise.
Ok, short post tonight -- it was another great day though!
