I am trying.....

I really am trying, but I just cant get the solid footing. I am exercising more and mostly eating right, but I still keep eating too much. I am an emotional eater and right now about anything is setting me off.

I hope that everything settles out for a while and I can get the toehold I need and then run with it.

    Sometimes it's as important to know what's eating you as what you're eating.
If therapy isn't your thing, then maybe you could talk to a trusted religious leader (from your own religion). Most faiths, as I understand it, offer some kind of counseling.
Even if there are no suggested solutions, sometimes the act of expressing your thoughts and worries out loud can help clarify them enough to suggest a solution or a way around the issue.

    Hand in there. I know you know this so I will just remind you. I seems you are not tracking your food intake religiously. To me that is very important. You know you can run for half a day, eat a couple Twinkies and you haven't gained a thing. You've done it before so you can do it.

  i know how u feel...i do the same thing...not sure where the solid footing is...what I do know is that even the smallest steps today can give us the strength to go and do better tomorrow...tomorrow will b here anyway...might as well feel good about yourself
