BLC pictures UPDATE DECEMBER 2, 2012

Here are my before pictues. I sure hope there is an improvement by December. I am hoping this is the motivation that I need.

So far, I have loved every minute of this group. I just wish I had much more time to devote to the team. Perhaps things will slow down a bit for me.

Anyway, making goals and working towards those has been so helpful.

I appreciate each and every one of you on my team. And I wish you all the best of luck and results!

These are the pictures I took after the 12-week BLC challenge. At least I kept trying and stayed until the end! I can't see much difference in the pics.

    I love that you belong to the BECK Team. Judith Beck PhD says to GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT, so give yourself credit for STARTING, give yourself credit for having a support group, give yourself credit for NOT gaining another pound and IF you stay just where you are by December 1st, KNOW that that is a victory and give yourself credit. WHY is that a victory? Because when we are obese we can gain ten pounds and not even notice. So, give yourself credit for BEING AWARE that you need to make changes for your health.

    Read the book "THE SUGAR FIX" by Richard Johnson M.D. He has lectures on YouTube. He says it isn't our fault that we are obese, but it is the hidden fructose in the foods we eat. I've learned so much from him about Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin rEsistance.

    Go to Youtube and listen to the seven part series THE SKINNY ON OBESITY with Robert Lustig M.D. and listen to his lecture "Sugar: the bitter truth". It will teach you SO much.
