So I have a problem with drinking sodas and also crystal light. I decided I dont really want to drink them anymore because of all the bad stuff like aspartame and HFCS in them, not to mention all the other bad stuff.
So I found this pin on Pinterest (I love that site) where they peeled an apple and cut it up then threw it in a pitcher of water with 5 cinnamon sticks for about 2 hours and you instantly have flavored water without all the additives. I love the stuff, I even got my mom to drink it instead of her diet soda and crystal light.
So after that I started experimenting, I just tried a cup of raspberries the other day, and that was pretty yummy, now I am trying strawberries. So far the apple cinnamon is my favorite and it helps with not wanting the yummy apple cider from the orchards in the area. I have heard of people making cucumber water as well, which I have tried, its a very crisp taste, but I dont really like cucumbers much.
So if you read this and try it, let me know what you think? and if you have any other ideas. I might try oranges next. I but that would be interesting.
