I've had a string of really good days, pertaining to diet, renovations and life in general.
I lost again this week! Down 2.2 from the past few weeks. Feeling really good about that. I feel a lot stronger and have so much more energy when I follow the right plan. No cravings, no sluggishness, no irritability. And then the bonus of that is that I lose weight!
Bathroom is pretty much done! This week we will put in the vanity. And then hang a curtain to hide the furnace and water heater. Johnny was gone this weekend so I had to do the work myself. The floor was put in on Saturday morning (vinyl that looks like old barnwood floor - SO HOT). Saturday afternoon my neighbor came and helped me put up the walls and paneling. The paneling looks like marble - its called Tuscan sunset. Freaking gorgeous. Then yesterday (Sunday) I went right when Lowe's opened and got the trim I needed, the new toilet and seat (with built in kid seat for Max!), towel racks, shelves, bins and towels. And a TP holder! No more TP on the floor!!! Mom took Max to church with her yesterday so I managed to get all of the trim up in about 2 hours. Then I installed all of the towel racks and shelves yesterday afternoon. It's freaking GORGEOUS. I was stuck on this tan and black color scheme because I couldn't figure out what else to put with it. The floor is dark brown, the walls are tan with white trim, and black was the only logical thing for me. Thats the color scheme in our kitchen too. I went to Walmart and started looking at shower curtains to hang for the furnace, and found this gorgeous brown, tan, white and RED polka dotted one. So that settled it! So the towels are red and brown, one rug in front of the shower is red and the one in front of the door to the garage is brown and tan. And we got a new toilet, and I drew a little fly in the bowl so that Max and Johnny could aim at it. Hopefully that will keep my bathroom a bit cleaner. Its so freaking gorgeous. I love it. I never thought I'd love a bathroom but I LOVE THAT BATHROOM. And you know what? I DID IT. I did that room almost totally by myself. It's very empowering to see that accomplishment. I'm freaking EXHAUSTED from doing it all in one weekend but I still got up for a 3.5 mile run this morning.
Johnny decided he was going to leave his current job after Christmas. This is a big deal. He thought he could help the company get out of debt, but he was never given full control to do what needed to be done so it didn't happen. So he's going into business for himself! Very exciting and scary but mostly exciting.
Mom and SK are coming next weekend. Very excited to see them and they are very excited to see Max and the house.
So to sum up, I'm happy, healthy, and loving life.
