Today is Constitution Day

Monday, September 17, 2012

Today is 225th Anniversary of the United States of America Constitution.

This holiday was previously known as Citizenship Day (before 2004) and "I am an American Day" (the 1940s). Though this holiday has gone through a lot of name changes, it was first celebrated in 1787 as Constitution Day.

Today let's take time to reflect on the importance of this massive document that spells out our democracy and set the foundation for this great country we call home.
