My second week has gone by and I feel pretty good. I was able to keep up with my workouts and had one day where I went about 100 calories over my goal. I was able to keep everything else in range besides that. I actually ended up having to up my calorie intake because SparkPeople only had it calculated for 3 days/ 30 min of exercise per week, when really I'm doing a lot above that! Some days I have issues eating all of my calories...well, I love food, so I really don't have an issue eating! It's more like eating good calories for my body instead of just junk to fill my quotas. I've been filling my house with more yogurt, fruit, granola, and veggies to help it out.
This week I'm going to start strength training which should crank things up a bit! I've been thinking about trying out some Tae Bo but I think I may need a little longer to get myself physically prepared.
On Tuesday I'm going to buy a new scale for my house. I would love to have my little ticker start moving, but my weight is kind of in question right now. I have two scales in my house, both of which may be older than me. One has me at 217-218ish (last week), the other has me at 215. I'd like to get some neutral ground so I'm going to buy a new scale, so I should have a weight update soon.
All in all I feel very good physically. I have more energy and I like taking the time to learn about leading a healthy lifestyle. This has become like a new hobby for me.
