Long overdue update!!!!!

Hi Spark Friends!!!!
I am still here!!!!!! And still TRYING!!!!
I am experimenting with paleo (-ish) for the past week. I decided to try this for two reasons. I have been having some GI issues during some of my long runs recently, and one of my friends has been doing paleo lately, and reports that her sweet and carb cravings are gone!!!
I am only weighing myself once a week, so I will see where I am on Wednesday!!!

I did my second Warrior Dash yesterday, it was a LOT of fun!!!! I started with a big group of friends, but I ended up going ahead after the obstacles started. There were two water obstacles, they were fun!!!
I can feel the muscles I used today, my upper back muscles especially!!!

I did a 9 mile long run today, I have a half marathon in 2 weeks, and then......San Fran in less than a month!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!

    I thought of you a lot on Saturday, as my husband was there as well. He ended up with a scrape on his hand from a log and scrapes on his knees from the crawling, but he seemed to love it. I can't remember if I shared with him your idea of wearing gloves. I obviously should have! How did you think it compared to the other one you did this summer?
It's awesome that you still did 9 miles the next day. You rock!! And you'll rock your HMs, too!

    Hello! I am very proud of you doing the Warrior Dash, that is something I fear and never will do. I just imagine myself falling off of a 10 foot wall on top of my head... I give credit to anyone who can do those extreme races : )

    you have alot on the books. So fun! I find it makes training so much more motivating when there is an end goal. Enjoy and let us know how it goes!

Good luck on the Paleo Diet! Are you using a book? I would love for my carb and sweet cravings to be gone.

    I don't really know what Paleo is so I just wish you good luck with it. I imagine it's a nutrition program so make sure it's balanced and it covers your nutritional needs.
Congratulations on your fitness achievements! You are an inspiration! I wish you all the best for the coming races!

  What is paleo? Are you running SF Marathon? I have been running a long time. Love it. Knee not so much. I'm 46:) things change, lol. Warrior Dash sounds fun looking forward to one two or three this year,
