Still Obsessed With 1985

More and more, THAT particular Bowling For Soup song (1985) really expresses me. That was probably my best year when I come to think of it. My sister realized her dream by losing enough weight to fit into her wedding dress for her Anniversary this year but MY dream is to fit into my clothes from 1985 and then find one of those retro Jack FM flashback 80's concerts and pretend. I have accomplished a LOT this weekend, a tiny bit at a time. Finally finished going through EVERYTHING in my storage shed and drug in my smaller clothes that I still have to work into and I have ALMOST unburied...dum dum DUM...my eighties cassettes! Just one more box for Zack to move for me in order to get to them. In the process, I am compacting more storage in both the shed and the garage and getting more stuff for donations and trash.
My weight has stayed in the twenties for the better part of this week and I was ecstatic on Friday when I bypassed the extra large polo shirts for work and went straight from double x down to regular size large...size large that I had bought ahead for my fifteen year old planning on him growing into them by next year but instead I grew down...ten dollar shirts I got on clearance for a dollar eighty eight at Academy...can it get any better? Well yes. I fit into three of my happy bunny t shirts now. The teal capris I absolutely love I found on clearance for half price in one size smaller that I don't THINK I will be barred from wearing due to cold weather or losing too much weight. But the losing too much weight would be a good enough deal for me. Let's just say I am absolutely LOVING finally seeing the changes.
Sadly, Suckily, I think working in the shed in the much needed and long awaited rain today has made me sick. We went from highs in the hundreds a week ago to a high of seventy eight today and rain for the past three days. It was just drizzling when I went out and worked on the shed with both dogs keeping me company as if it was their private domain instead of mine. I really wasn't out there that long. I did everything just a few minutes at a time all weekend long. My throat has been scratchy and my body feeling achy every since around two pm. I only have three work days with the kids this week since I have training on Thursday and Homecoming parade and game after that so if I'm sick or not sick, it doesn't matter. I'm going to work.
