My BLC 12 Week goal

Ok this is my very first BLC. I am a perfectionist and I have been my whole life, but the only thing that I can really control is what I haven't been able to, my weight (eating & exercising), because i'm also a stress eater. So my goal in the next 12 weeks is this.....

1. Watch my Calories stay in range 1200-1400 at least 6 of 7 days. I never give myself a day to slip, maybe that's aloud. emoticon

2. Exercise at least 30mins. 6 days a week working up to at least 60mins. I am doing the SP Trick or Treat Trot 5K so some walking at least 3 days a week. I am not able to do strenght training yet, but want to start some kind 1-2 days a week in the future. emoticon emoticon

3. Want to lose at least 30 Pounds emoticon

4. Try to cut back on Sweets. More fruits emoticon& veggies emoticon , and plan Meals a head of time, so less chance of eating slip up's (grab & go high calorie foods) And drink at least 13 glasses of water a day emoticon

5. Work on geting more Sleep 7-8 hours a night. I will use Pixie dust like the sandman would emoticon emoticon

6. Work on less Stress in my life. Letting things that are not nessasary go and not letting what people say cause me to eat badly. Because as we know this doesn't hurt them only us.(I'm trying to get smarter emoticon)

7. And last i'm not sure what I can do for anyone else on my team, but what ever I can do to support them or this team I will do it! So if any Pixie's come and fly by my branch in the Forrest stop on by for a chat, or a pixie hug. emoticon emoticon In a pick of the top 3 teams this was my first pick so I don't want to let anyone down! emoticon emoticon emoticonAnd thanks to all the Pixie that I have already emoticon by.     Thought I'd come by for a visit. It's been awhile since you posted this but I don't know how it worked for you. I yo-yo'd for decades; dieting and gaining before I came to SP. Things I've learned along the way.

1. You can't avoid stress. It's part of life. The best way to relieve it is with exercise. Eating just makes it worse and damages your self esteem.

2. 12-1400 calories a day is NOT enough food unless planned very carefully. I'd end up quitting because I was always hungry or giving up because I felt deprived. I didn't want to live with either!

3. Slow is not a problem. If you do things to lose the weight that you are not willing to do the rest of your life; you won't keep it off. Losing is easy, living at a healthy weight takes a lifestyle change. Best learned while you are losing. Feels good too! My goal was to weigh less the first of each month than I weighed the month before. I reached goal losing only 1-2 pounds a month eating at maintenance calories (1800-2000 calories) and building more activity into my days; but, I've been here almost 8 years now and feel great! Without the increased activity, I could gain on 1400 calories a day!

4. It is possible to drink too much water and it can cause problems too. Unless you are an athlete 8 glasses a day is plenty. I drink coffee and tea too and count them as water. Works for me.

5. Sleep is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Great goal!

6. SMART goals work; search smart on SP for some great articles. Basically they are:

    Having that 1 day that you give yourself permission to slip makes the other 6 days easier. Often you won't even use the slip day! And you'll feel so strong!
