OK, this blogging thing is not easy, but from what I've read it truly helps in getting the new lifestyle to work. So, starting once again to blog.... where do I start?
The family joined a gym and we are doing really well with consistently working out. Each morning I go and do my strength training. Upper body on Monday and Friday, lower body on Tuesday and Thursday, Core on Wednesday and Saturday. Then, I am running on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Plus, Bill and I work out Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Yoga on Tuesday night. So.... that's the fitness part of rebuilding my life. So far I am losing a pound a week.
We are trying to eat better and eat mainly organic. Gosh, it costs a lot to eat organic! This mean we are eating less meat or fish and much more grains and vegies. Nothing is wrong with this nutrition wise, but it is a huge change.
OK, so that is my map to the new destination of health and better quality of life. We started this at the end of July. School has started and I haven't really started subbing yet so don't know how it will match up with work, but am hopeful that now that the habit is formed it should continue.
Working out really is addictive. I am enjoying the weight training and like that the body is getting stronger. So far I am down five pounds! Yippee!!! There are still many more to go, but it is nice to see the numbers getting smaller.
