Ok, so my version of speed work is basically run as fast as I can for as long as I can, then walk to catch my breath before running again.
Haha, so yesterday, I did a mile in 9:05, but felt like I could have pushed myself harder.
So today I ran a single mile in 8:07! Not bad! The running segments were between 7:00 and 7:30 min/mile, and I kept my walking faster than 15:00 min/mile.
By the way, this was after biking 4 miles and walking 2 miles. :) A good workout today!
