So many of you made comments about not knowing what a javalina is. I didn't know either until I moved to Arizona, but that's the name given to this wild pig. While their features are definitely "pig like" there are some differences. Here's what they look like, and they weigh about 60 pounds.
The other photo I have been very slow at getting on here is a painting that I had done. It is not the last one I painted, but is actually the first one -- I was experimenting, and decided to paint four different flowers on one canvas. I finally got it on my computer (I'm an illiterate)
It's kind of hard to read the writing and in case you don't know your flowers, from top left they are as follows: yellow tulip, pink carnation, under the carnation is a lavender pansy, and to the left of that a poinsetta.
