Shattering Food Insanity

A definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result. This describes my calorie/carb intake to a tee.

I consistently eat 500-800 calories over my range. Every day. Since forever. And then I get sulky when my weight isn't coming down. This is the first time I've admitted this publicly.

So, I have a big rock in my hand. This rock is named "Plan" and I am virtually heaving it at Food Insanity.

Whew! That felt good. OK, I've broken Food Insanity and can no longer use it as an excuse. Today I took some time and planned the day. I then stuck to the plan. It's one day closer to two days. Tomorrow I will do the same thing. And so on...

Now that's some Insanity I can live with. Have a great weekend!!!

    I know...why do we do this ?! Stay in the same old eating pattern, and expect to lose? That is insanity!

    Here throw one of those rocks my way, gettin started on entering my food in my tracker before the meal comes. Only Second day I have done this and it sure helps you meet the limits better. Before I would be entering my meal as I was eating it and lots of times I would find I had a combination that was not working, like too many proteins in same meal but light on the calories. So I would just start taking things off my plate. Yeah crazy way to do things, but trying the other now and see if I can do this long term. Thanks for the reminder it works better this way! Loving that Shatter sound!!
