Muffin top had a win yesterday, GRRRRRR!

Thursday, September 13, 2012

Ever thing was going great I was feeling good; eating right till it came time I was at the movies! I went to see a movie with my dad and 2 brothers; well dad was sweet and got each of us popcorn without us knowing. Now see I LOVE movie popcorn that’s something I can make myself sick on sad to say. I all so have not been eating by the TV or my laptop, for I know it’s easy to get lost eating as your thinking about something ells. So thinks to myself oh I will have a little the put the bag on the floor, next thing I know the movie started and 30mins latter I have an empty bag and now back up to 232.02 from 230.6 not that big I know but it’s still an evil win for the muffin top. Today so far has been a lot better.

I got up today and was feeling down when I seen I was up a little, well then I had my 2 eggs and went to ZUMBA, it kicked my ass but oh sooo happy to be going again. But take the 2nd class today at 6.40pm if I get ever thing I need to do finished. Again if you have not tried it yet DO! It’s the most fun I have ever had working out and I love to learn new dances. I’m not the best and I look like a dork but I have fun!

As all ways thank you for your kind words, and thoughts! You guys truly have been helping me more then you know. Thanks to this blog it has help me work out some of the things I could never tell any one face to face!

Popcorn + movie = me powerless to resist too. Don't let this minor issue get you down. You've got more successes than failures in your future!

The good news is that you did not actually add nearly two pounds of adipose tissue to your body. The other good news is that you know you could have made a different ("better") decision and will have another chance to make that choice next time.

No need to remark on the bad news!

The thing about the bird reminds me of something one of our cats did last week. I made this zucchini and corn chowder for dinner, and the recipe requires you to stew the "zipped" corncobs in the pot for extra flavor. I fished them out before blending the soup, and had the cooked cobs just sitting there in a bowl on the counter. After dinner, Dave (husband) and I were doing whatever -- relaxing -- and we hear a noise in the kitchen, followed by some VERY excited sounding meowing. Our smallest cat, Carol Brown -- she's about 6 pounds soaking wet -- came trotting through the living room carrying an entire corncob in her tiny little mouth. I had to wrestle it away from her, but eventually got it back. Crazy cat!
