I have to wear a white dress in approximately 30 days.
Because of my dread to be in all white... I have not even started making my dress. Oh I've been sewing. I made a dog bed for my Hobosis:
I made pencil bags for my daughters, and HAND EMBROIDERED their names in big letters on them. To give you an idea of how long it took, my 5 year old's name has 5 letters in it, and it took about 8 hours to embroider. My 7 year old's name has 6 letters in her name, and it took me every bit of 9 hours to embroider hers, but they are GORGEOUS!
And I have made myself (and two of my friends) e-reader covers for their Kindle's. Did I mention that I also embroidered my friends' names on their e-reader covers???
I have done all of this in avoidance of.... a white dress.
My sister asked me to make Ohio State sheets for the baby boy she has due in December! That is something else I can do to avoid that white dress....
*sigh* OK. Discipline. Control. MAKE YOUR DAGGONE DRESS!!! I vow here and now I am going to get back on track. I am going to start running again (finally feeling better. Cough finally clearing up.) and I am going to start sewing that White Dress. I am going to get back into tracking my food. There is NO reason I shouldn't do it. I am going to start making my breakfasts again and packing my lunches. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
Ladies and gentlemen... I am Back.
Thursday: 5K walk around the block.
Friday: 6:00a jog before work
Saturday: spark people videos 30-45 minutes worth.
It will happen. Thanks for hanging in there and cheering me on when I didn't have the strength to do it myself. Enough with excuses. I am so back in the saddle.
