    I'd missed the "bad mother" blog: loved it! (And no no no: you're not a bad mother!! We hold ourselves to ridiculous standards of perfection. Bruno Bettleheim's book, "The Good Enough Mother", should be required remedial reading!!)

    Well, damn! Guess I need to slap that estrogen patch back on! Took it off when I started the hCG because it seemed the less extraneous stuff you were on, the better. But I was just reading the same sort of thing in Gary Taubes' book and its being GOOD for fat loss. Now I'll check out the rest of the blog! Thanks, Ramona!

    Time to "study" up on what you've been discovering! -- Once again, I think I should be able to drop 5 or so #'s, and the body is "stuck" on a plateau. I'm not sure what to do to mix it up. -- What's your "take" on "set points"??

The realty is that I've given myself a 10# category of "flux". (Not stuck on a #, honest!) But I'm at the top end of that set and I'd feel more comfortable in the middle with the ebs & flows of life.

From what I've read, it indicates that once you've lost weight, you need a lot less calories to maintain the weight than you did before. That's what I'm working to sort out. Making healthy choices to feed my body in a healthy way.
