Well folks I'm almost at my 8 lb mark and I'm ecstatic
I have PCOS and that makes it harder for me to loose weight. I've been struggling with weight loss for years, really actively since joining SP in June 2011. I've been up and down and I'm actually at my lowest since joining SP now.
So what have I been doing differently. I started my circuit/strength training classes and I've been going for a month now consistently. I go Mondays to Thursdays. Me and a friend/co-worker of mine go and we motivate each other. She also has PCOS.
Where do I start? I've lost almost 8 lbs, reached my first 5 lb goal and looking for the next 5 lbs and about half way there; I'm getting stronger (me and the planks are friends now), work uniform pants are so big now. People say I've lost weight. I don't really see it yet as I have a distorted view of myself. I don't think I'm as fat as my pictures look. Hmm I need to take some pictures now. I took some before, in my underwear pics on June 18. Can't share those sorry, can't have people I work with finding that on the internet. I have less cellulite. I actually ate a salad and air popped corn for dinner yesterday. I have been loving salads as I've been adding my new love- feta cheese. Now I love love love cheese and I eat the fatty cheddar cheese like it's water. Feta has a sharper taste so I don't eat as much of it and it makes the salads so much nicer to eat. It's pricier than the regular cheese here in Jamaica but it's worth it as I don't eat as much of it as I would the cheddar cheese which is about the same price but I get about 4 times as much cheese. I also add raisins and craisins if I have any. I had some cheese and tomatoes the other day, it was so nice. I love tomatoes. Need to get some dill, a little hard to find out here, and some purple onions to add to the salads. Also been having soups for dinner as I'm not really hungry when I go home. I wanna eat when it's bed time though but need to make some jello for that or eat more air popped corn.
Cons: Been having a rough time sleeping as I'm so charged after my work out. I normally have sleep issues when I start back working out after a break but it's been a month and I usually get back into my sleep pattern after maybe 2-3 weeks. May have to start taking melatonin and start winding down earlier or drinking some red wine earlier.
Oooo also news to share- I got a new job! Pay and benefits are a lot better and it's a bigger company so hoping all goes well with it.
. Well ttyl folks
So as I do every post, 3 things I'm grateful for:
1. My sis is back in Jamaica after working in North Dakota for the summer
