I'm getting real tired of nutritionally doing great one month and not so great the following month. It makes no sense whatsoever. I bike 1,000+ miles monthly, but can't seem to master the nutritional side of the equation. As I was cycling yesterday I started thinking about the word excellent and how it applies and came up with the following: "Excellence is but for the few". I've been thinking about that quote and want very bad to be one of
"The Few". It's so easy to blame it on the vacation, party, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, bad day, good day, summer, winter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, get togethers, etc. "The Few" overcome those obstacles and offer few, if any, excuses or reasons. They just stick to it year in and year out. My wonderful wife is one of "The Few". She works hard, finds time for almost daily exercise, eats very healthy, and looks incredibly fit. This in spite of suffering from Crohn's Disease. How humbling is that? My quest is to join her in that very elite club whose membership is but "A Few". HOOAAA!!
