I have been so busy lately - but it's all been good. But I have certainly noticed after several months of eating more healthy, making better food choices that when I do eat something that I haven't had in a long while that my body isn't pleased.
Example: On Sunday I took some friends to lunch. We went to "Bad Daddy's" - a gourmet burger joint of sorts. The burgers were HUGE - I did opt for coleslaw instead of fries of any kind. AND that cheeseburger with bacon WAS awesome. However, 30 minutes after eating, I couldn't keep it down. Too greasy!
Then yesterday after a lunch at LoneStar steakhouse where I had a salad with a small amount of steak on it, balsamic dressing; and a small french onion soup that I took most of the melted cheese off the top & even from that I had bathroom issues during the afternoon.
SO - I have to say that while I've thought I miss certain foods, my body is telling me that I'm really not! God, let it be that I can NEVER again allow my body to get used to food that is really bad for me!
Last night I had some rotisserie chicken left over - made some healthy chicken salad & ate it over ice cold lettuce. YUM!!! I think I've said it before here, but I have come to the place where I prefer making my own food at home....it's healthy, fresh & it stays down!
