OK, I understand Jury Duty as a civic obligation. It is necessary to help the system function. And I appreciate that they even have a information lline that you can call the night before to be sure they need jurors today. But why do I have to be there so blessed early. It's now 6:39 am. The coffee is cooking. The cats have been fed. In a few minutes I will jump in the shower, get dressed, walk the dog and head off to the courthouse. This is not easy for me. After all, I am a creature of the night!

I am a morning person, so that works for me. I just wish I would get jury duty for one of the 2 or 3 courthouses close to my home, rather than the main one that is farthest away. I hope you survived!

So sorry. I'm the opposite. I'd be happy to do the early shift as I'm ready for bed at 8 p.m. (or earlier if possible). LOL

Hope you had a good day!

Good luck! I keep getting called, and only got chosen once.

I hope you don't get a lengthy case and your early morning trips stop soon.
