Gained weight

I've gained 10 pounds in the last ew weeks. I hadn't been exercising much here lately. The only time that I had trackable time to put as exercise was yesterday when I walked to church and back home. And I've been doing a no no in being a vegetarian. Eating meat. There were tmes I would eat more than once a day and more than once a week. I've been fighting upset stomachs the next morning. I better quit eating meat. Plus I would feel sleepy an hour or so later after eating it.

I was at 197 pounds but now I'm at 207 pounds. To get back to down to 19 pounds, I need to lose 11 pounds. I'm hoping ot change my eating habits that doesn't include meat and get some exercise in. Hopefully I can do a workout DVD later.

Yesterday when my dad and I were at Target, I got a DVD movie for a good price. Moulin Rouge for $3.99 when it was $5.0. Not bad. I haven't seen the movie yet. Hope its good.

10:55am

I had meat this morning but it was a small amount. I ate some bacon but the strips were small in both width and length. 3 small pieces. Don't ask me why I got them but I had eggs with them.

3:30pm

I got a couple of bottles of orange flavored Gatorade at Casey's today. 2 for $4.00 when they're $2.29 a bottle. I've been thinning it out with wate. It's a little sweetfor me.

After I get done with the two tone purple afghan that I'm making for my sister-in-law in Ohio, I'm going to make her a Christmas stocking in the two shades of purple. I'm going to make my brother Michael (the one in Ohio who's wife i getting the two tone purple afghan) a Christmas stocking in Syracuse University colors. I'm going to make my grandniece Katelynn a Christmas stocking in pink.

9:08pm

I'm not looking forward in tomorrow and Wednesday because we have to take dad's oldest brother to two different doctors appointment. Heart doctor tomorrow and chiropractor on Wednesday.

I didn't get the chance to put in a workout DVD. Why? Silly me I put in the movie that I got yesterday for $3.99 into the DVD player instead. Oh well. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow.

I'm getting close in finishing the two tone purple afghan. I have about 7.5 rows left on the body to do before I can do the border. I need to combine the two yarn balls of deep violet because I'm getting close in finishing up one ball.

The weather is great. No rain since the weekend. Nights and morning have been too cool to go for a walk. I know that it was yesterday morning when I walkd to church. I wore a fleece hoodie to church. I wore it home but it was too warm by 11am.

    Your body may be craving proteins. You might want to increase or add beans. Try doing a few ST upper body movements when you are watching your movie. It works great for me. emoticon emoticon

    I have my best success when I eat fish and baked or broiled chicken and completely eliminate refined sugar, processed foods and wheat from my diet. It is not easy, but my skin sure gets nice. The nitrates and nitrites and food dye in bacon are not good for you. It is better to eat a broiled pork loin. Are you going vegetarian for the diet purpose or for animal rights? That may determine how you proceed. Obviously you need more protein than you are getting.

    Hello AUNTRENEE. I have always heard that it is harder to maintain or lose weight on a vegetarian diet. If I remember correctly, it is because a lot of the food vegetarians eat are carb rich. I don't know what could be causing your meat cravings...maybe you are not getting enough protein in your diet, so your body is compensating for that deficit. Are you feeling hungry sooner than you think you should? That is when I know I need more protein. Good luck, Dawn emoticon

  I always find it hard to stay on my diet when I spend so much time at work. What kinds of lunches are you packing to take to work?
