We finally made it back up to the little cabin in the mountains and hope to be here through mid-October. We left Florida with morning temperatures averaging in the mid 70's and highs in the 90's. This morning we are a beautiful, crisp 54 degrees and no humidity to speak of.

Who could ask for anything more???

Me, that's who! I started feeling the beginnings of a cold last night and this morning my head weighs a ton, my throat is scratchy and my nose is runny. I so wanted to go down and do the river walk today but think I had better wait a day or two and get my body back up to speed.
